Mandy Moore made her first album when she was just 14 , and now at 18 shes almost writing songs herself!she new when she was 6 years old she wanted to be a performer , she has been in films such as : princess diaries and her up coming film a walk to remember.
At the age of 10 her parents granted her wish , to let her have singing lessons, she would belt out wind beneth your wings in her little karoke box, her parents thought it was just a phare she was going through.
She had done muscials and much more , but before she had time to think she had begun demos and there she was with a record deal!
Both of her albums "so real" and "i wanna be with you" went platinum, which means they each sold about one million copies.
Her first single was candy which was a hit in UK and USA.
She went on tour with artists such as Nsync and Backstreet boys.
ON her 3rd album,"Mandy moore" she had co written some of the songs such as "when i talk to you"
As mandy moore has done a lot of singing and perfomance she also is the commerical kid,such as Neutrogena, you you've seen her on uk tv , shes the spokes woman of the skin care stuff.

So whats it about?
Each Spring in the little port town of Beaufort, North Carolina, when the wind smells of pine and salt and the sea, Landon Carter remembers his senior year at Beaufort High and Jamie Sullivan, the girl who changed his life.
Jamie was the last person Landon was likely to fall for. Serious and conservative, she was as far from cool as she could possibly be, and didnt care. The daughter of the town’s Baptist minister, Jamie was not afraid of letting people know that her faith was the most important part of her life, even if it cost her some friends. Landon hung with the in-crowd -- an aimless, moody, reckless guy who breezed through school on looks and bravado. He had no plans, no future and no faith in himself.
One night a prank that he and his buddies set up goes terribly wrong and lands a kid in the hospital. As punishment, Landon must tutor a young student at a poor school and participate in the Drama Clubs Spring play  two activities the principal hopes will teach him some humility. They also happen to throw him into close contact with Jamie. Clearly in over his head, Landon is forced to ask her for help.
Soon, against his own expectations, Landon finds himself falling in love with this outwardly plain girl who possesses a passion for life he never imagined possible. But it isnt easy. For reasons of her own, Jamie does everything she can to run away from romance until it becomes impossible to deny.
Being together will test everything that they believe in. Most of all, it will test the power of love and faith to transform a life into something worth living.

Shannon Bruce West was born on the 10th of June, 1978 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (USA). Since the age of fifteen he knew that he had a passion for the performance industry. With doubts in his mind over the next couple of years, he thought constantly over whether acting was a possible and intelligent path to take. It wasn't until 1995 that he decided that it was the right thing to do, and moved to Los Angeles, California. While moving to the new city he chose to change his name to "Shane".
From 1995 to present, Shane West has starred in several roles on television and on the big screen. Due to his obvious gifts and talents for acting, Shane West established his career on TV'S "Once And Again" (1999) as Eli Sammler, a young rebellion causes many problems due to his bad ways. His role on the dramatic soap opera lead him to his debut leading role in the motion picture, Whatever it Takes (2000), starring alongside James Franco (TV'S "Freaks and Geeks"), Marla Sokoloff ("The Baby-Sitters Club") and Jodi Lyn O'Keefe ("She's All That"). He appeared in 2000's "Dracula", then made a cameo appearance in 2001's recent rendition of Ocean's Eleven, appearing beside a-list actors Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, George Clooney & Julia Roberts.
Fortunately, it wasn't until his role as Landon Carter in "A Walk To Remember", which was based on the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name, that gave him the publicity he wanted. Shane's character, another bad boy, begins to change his bad ways, after falling for conservative, Jamie Sullivan who is played by pop princess Mandy Moore. Although the film brought West to teen stardom, he is trying hard to steer clear of teen roles and instead, change Hollywood's outlook on his previous roles.
Although having a great obsession for acting, Shane spends plenty of his time writing music for his pop-punk group "Jonny Was". Formerly known as "Average Joe", due to legal reasons the name had to be changed. The band was lucky enough to have one of their songs featured on the "A Walk To Remember" soundtrack, with it being one of their biggest exposures to date. Jonny Was seemed to have caught more fans with the soundtrack doing extremely well on Billboard charts.
Now, the man who formerly had an infatuation with Courteney Cox-Arquette (TV'S Friends), will not likely be seen in another teen movie, but instead in much more mature roles on the big screen.
